At Dayboro Information Centre, we can
provide advice on things to see, things to do, where to eat
and where to stay in the Dayboro area. We have maps and brochures
and plenty of ideas, from planning a day's walk around our town
to discussing a hiking holiday in the local national parks or
advising on travel further afield.
Our Staff are local volunteers and are always ready to chat
about Dayboro and its history. We have old photographs, local
history books, historical maps and information covering Dayboro's
growth from a small settlement in the 1860s to the thriving
town of today. All our volunteers are members of the Dayboro
District Historical Society and are very willing to help with
queries about our local families and especially keen to assist
if you think you may have local family connections.
"Dayboro
Cottage" is open from 10.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. 7 days a week
and is the Information Centre for the Dayboro District.
